Help! Problem with eyebrow waxing?

It was my first time waxing them, and they turned out nice, yadda yadda, then the next day (I got them waxed at night time) they were all flakey and scratched looking! The actual eyebrow is ok, but around the area that got waxed, the skin is rippled, kinda, and there are scabs, and it isn't going down. It's been like this for a week, and I keep rubbing lotion and cremes on it. Help?Help! Problem with eyebrow waxing?
Your skin could have just been irritated because it was your first time... my first time my skin bleed a little bit but now its fine. You may also be allergic to something in the wax. Talk to a beauty consultant about options with wax or find a place that uses products that are more organic, that might be better. Because this was your first time it's hard to tell what kind of reaction you had, but i say definitely speak to a beauty consultant because they would know what waxes and creams are best to use and possibly what kind of reaction you had.Help! THEN TALK TO A DERMATOLOGIST!!!! And I get that you've only been waxed ONCE!!!!

If it's too close to that time of the month, it will do that. I would put neosporin on them to prevent scaring. Also you want to prevent from touching them too much. Next time make sure the esthetician doesn't wax in the same place more than once. If she misses hair she is suppose to pluck them
You should'nt have done it again.

hehe.

=] but..anyways.

wait a few more days. it'll heal.

next time...wait for about 3 days before waxing again
Careful about what kind of lotion you're putting on the skin. Try smearing some neosporin on the area before bed one night. Also, try the wax on another part of your body, like your leg or arm to see if you have the same reaction. If not, your facial skin might just be really sensitive. If you do, you might be allergic to something in the wax or just unable to wax period. Try a different brand if this is the case.
ok so it was ur first time waxing, i guess now u know thats not your thing. Just wait until it heals, i wouldn't put any lotion or treatment on it. (maybe just some cover up when you go up if your embarassed of how it looks)

And when your eyebrows grow back, next time go a different way, maybe pluck them at home with a pair of tweezers or get them threaded.
You should'nt have done it again.

hehe. Just wait a few days the next time you do it
Don't put on any lotion that is scented. Some people react like that to waxing. I know someone who can never wax because they get react very severely to it. You just might be that sort of person. A razor might be your best friend!
you dont do it again!!!!!! wait till they grow back!
