First time eyebrow waxing?

well im 13 and my eyebrows are okay but i messed them up and i waited for them to grow out i asked my mom if she can pluck them for me and she said why don't you just get them waxed. I would do it but im scared that it might hurt how does it feel please tell me im scared.First time eyebrow waxing?

Go get it done at a salon or even JC Penney's has a place to get it done too for cheap. Normally it's $12-15. You could pluck them, but why take a 1/2 an hour to do that when a professional can give you the best look for your face shape. Then after you get it waxed every 3-4 weeks %26amp; pluck the hairs that grow in between the time you get it waxed. I wax my own brows, but I wouldn't recommend this unless you have a very steady hand. It does hurt a little, but the more you go the less it will hurt. The first time may be a little more painful than your follow ups because there's more hair to wax off.
Go to a professional to have this done. I think it actually hurts less than tweezing one by one.





They will prep the eyebrow by making the hairs soft. Then wax the area and put an astringent that will cool the waxed area. You'll feel a little burning but not pain.





Your eyebrows will look more professional and it last longer than tweezing.
It hurts for like two seconds. It's like ripping off a bandaid very quickly. They usually have calming and soothing lotions that they apply afterward. I love getting mine done, it take away the hair faster and longer than plucking. Just think, when you pluck, you have that pain every time you pull out a hair. With waxing, it is done all in one shot. The more you have them done, the less it will hurt.
Don't worry! I'm 21 and I've gotten my eyebrows waxed only a couple of times - usually I just pluck them. The person doing your eyebrows will put one finger between your eyebrows and another on your temple and pull the skin taut (try it now, so you see what I mean.) It just makes a flat surface so your skin won't pull up when they wax - the hairs will just come out easier.


Your skin will be a bit pink when it's done, but it's nothing. I was super scared my first time, but when you're done, you're fine. Way less painful than ear piercing or anything lol

at first it does hurt for me on a number of 1-10 i'd say a 5 have you ever broken a small bone like a pinky or toe? well for me it hurts a little more than that but by now ive broken so many fingers and toes im used to it (btw breaking a toe or finger does NOT hurt)


so yea but after the first couple times you get them done they dont hurt anymore
i remember the first time i got mine done i was soooo scared.


but like the top of your eyebrow hurts the least, and the bottom part by like where your eyelid is; that hurts a little.


im not gonna exaggerate or anything so im going to say it does hurt a little.


but your eyebrows look reallly reallly pretty after(:

It really depends on how sensitive you are.


I got mine waxed, and it stung a little bit, but it didn't really hurt that bad.


I'm not verry sensitive though, so if your verry sensitive then it might be worse.


If you don't think plucking is bad, then waxing shouldn't be a big problem.

well waxing doesn't hurt the way people think.


plucking is kinda the same way as waxing. they both take hair out of its roots. but if you pluck your doing it one by one , which in my expirience , hurts more.

They pour a war wax to the area being waxed,


a strip of fabric is then applied, and removed in a quick motion.





It takes less than 30 seconds each, and doesn't hurt all that much.


It will be pink in the waxed area for around half an hour but the results are worth it!
A really good way, is getting them threaded, it is relatively painful, but nothing compared to waxing. It is quick, and is extremely effective as it pull out the tiny thick hairs which waxing wouldn't do. Threading is definitely the way to go!
Okay, well.. Some people i've heard say it hurts, and some say it doesn't and this depends on your pain intolerance. It's really quick compared to plucking each hair one by one and the pain wil only be for a second or two. The other thing i would suggest is threading? Some salons do this.

i get my eyebrows waxed and i doesn't really hurt that much, even the first time. its really quick and over pretty soon. it just makes your eyes water a bit. (well it does for me xD)

Imagine taking a bandaid off your arm. It hurts for a second but then its ok. What about ';sugaring';? it is less painful and less chance for a reaction to the wax.
Its actually quite painless.. but it's different for everyone.


I think It doesn't hurt :/ just make sure its done by a professional.
it doesn't hurt don't worry. at some points it might sting but if wouldn't make you yell. Don't Be so Scared. I was like that too when it was my first time.
im 13 too, i got it done and they put tape over ur eyebrow and pirr it off, it hurts like hell but it feels really smooth after.
no it does not hurt at all. i'm 13 and i got mine3s waxed a few days ago. its okay. and plus its worth it...toodles!
It will be excruciating. You will most likely tear out part of your forehead skin. Be very afraid.
It barely even hurts. It's like pain for 2 seconds, no big deal.
it really isn't that bad. i wouldn't worry, its over in 5 minutes and its just like ripping a band aid off quickly.
just go to a salon and get them plucked then just keep touching them up so they stay nice. simples x
