First eyebrow waxing?

i want to get my eyebrows waxed before school starts. I will be 13 then, in 8th grade. My aunt owns a salon where they do waxing so that is where i am going. My eyebrow hair is pretty light and thin compared to my head hair (dark brown head hair but my eyebrows are a little lighter and kinda thin). They are not extremely ugly and hairy but they don't have a good shape to them. Can you get the top of the eyebrow waxed too, or is it bad?, because the top of my eyebrows is like pointy and i dont really like it. Also how long do the eyebrows stay red and swollen?First eyebrow waxing?

personally, i like plucking them better, cause you can shape them slowly. But yes, you can get them waxed on top too. my sister got it done and they weren't perfectly even and there's not much you can do for it after they've already ripped the hair out! Oh, and hers stayed swollen about an hour or so.
RELAX! i don;t suggest you do the top, i heard on the radio it doesent look good. so dont do it. breath in. Breath out, and it'll be over before you know it.

yea u can get them waxed up on top and they usually stay red for just like at least 20 mins. at least thats wat happened to my friends. when i got mine waxed they stayed red for 2 days! my mom said its probably bc i have really sensitive skin but thats the only time they stayed like that.
i just got mine done and they make your eyes water alot right before squeeze your eyes though and yes you can but its not very good to do the top atleast back in paris we dont....it doesnt stay red for long but it gets very sensitive
word of advice from a teenager...


stay focus with your education, nice eyebrows aren't going to get you a diploma.

Ive gotten my eyebrows waxed since i was 10. it doesn't hurt that much and it only stays red 4 like 2 hours, and yes they do wax the top.

just make sure the brows are identical and they look natural. they only stay red for like an hour or two.
yes you can have to top waxed too and it dosent stay red for long.
Do you mean threading or waxing? If you threading, it's okay to do wherever you want. You could just ask whoever is doing the procedure how avoid getting ingrown hairs and what not. Your eyebrows wouldn't swell, by the way. And it depends on your complexion how long it will stay red. For lighter skin people, the redness would be visible longer. For darker skin people, the redness would be all that visible. If you are ashamed it being red, as soon as you get home, sleep and by the time you wake up it will gone. Just don't touch it up too much.
