hello everyone-
so i got my eyebrows professionaly waxed before my sisters wedding on saturday. (i got them done friday night). well i don't know if the lady did something wrong..buy the skin where she waxed is all red and i'm missing lawyers of skin. it looks REALLY bad. plus it was all red for my sisters wedding (and i was a bridesmaid- so i'm sure i'll look stupid in the photos)
we tried to cover it with makeup..but you can still see it.
did the lady do something wrong or is my skin just really sensitive?? i've had them waxed before and never had this problem!!
should i go back and complain and ask for my $$ back?? is there anything else i should/can do??
what should i put on to help make it heal faster?
thanks everyoneEyebrow waxing+ burnt sking now??
The wax could have been old and perhaps not as hot as it should have been. I would go back and file a complaint with the owner and see if anybody else is have the same reaction. You also could have developed an allergy towards the beeswax. You tend to develop allergies when you are exposed to something excessively.Eyebrow waxing+ burnt sking now??
If you can find any, try Manuka Honey to put on the burns. I've done the same thing before. Your skin might be sensitive to one wax and not another, so if it was at new place, you may want to find out what wax they use so you don't use it again. Try to find a place that uses a hard wax. You can also use baby powder on your skin first as this will prevent the wax from sticking to your skin.
The wax might have been to hot .Are you on acne medication or some other med acne meds are a big problem for waxing if you are on any don't wax until you have been off them for 6 months .also don't tan for 48 hours before or after that can cause burning also .Go to a doctor because this will cause scaring.Let the salon know and ask they pay medical bill.lol.
the same thing happened to me. you shouldnt be getting your eyebrows waxed if you are using any type of acne medication such as differin or tazorac. if you put some polysporin on it it should help a lot and it hsould heal faster good luck
the wax was probably to hot and/or your skin might be to sensitive to that kind of wax. YES go back and tell her what she did to you and YES get your money back.
i think she did it wrong
from personal experience, keep it away from dirt and let it heal by it self
most of the time putting something on it will just aggravate it
You should go complain....your skin should not be gone like that!!
