HELP!!! EYEBROW WAXING!!! 12 points!!!?

i am getting them waxed tomorrow morning and i am soo scared!! will it hurt? i heard it is like a sting. how long will my eyebrows sting for?? does it hurt the first time? what is the closest thing it feels like?HELP!!! EYEBROW WAXING!!! 12 points!!!?
I was soooo scared the first time I got my eyebrows waxed. And it will hurt, but it is just like a sting. It won't sting long, it'll hurt the worst when they pull that tape thing off and it'll sting for a few seconds and then it will start to go away. That's what it will, for the most part, feel like. Your eyebrows will be a little red for a bit but the sting won't last long. Take a piece of tape, put it on your arm hair, and rip it off. It should sting for the first few seconds, and then it will go away. But don't worry, your eyebrows will look better once your done. And you might flinch when they rip the tape off, but like I said, the sting goes away. The first time is the worst, but it gets easier if you have them done regularly. So just relax^_^HELP!!! I'm not going to lie to you, it will hurt. It'll hurt most right when they rip the strip off and will sting a bit but will fade. Usually by the time one eyebrow is done and they start on the next one its really not too uncomfortable anymore. The closest it feels to? I would say maybe a slap?





But I have a trick that should help!!! About 30 min before you get it done, take some aspirin, advil, something like that. It'll help with the redness/swelling of it afterwards and helps with the pain!!!

I haven't ever gotten mine done but i need to, so because all of my friends have gotten it done a thousand times before, i asked them about it, and here is what they had to say. Yes it will hurt, and it does sting but only for like 3 seconds and it feels just like a sharp pinch, i think it hurts more the first time you get it done but after that it dosn't really feel bad at all. To tell you the truth i can't wait to get my done. Lastly they say that your eyebrows will be a lil red for a while but it will go away, and you won't want to like raise your eyebrows, Just close you eyes, nothing will go wrong. Don't be scared, you will look great!

I LOVE getting my eyebrows waxed. Ok, maybe not the process, but the results are amazing. As far as hurting, no, it really doesn't hurt that much. It's like getting slapped with a ruler (like a sting) that goes away in a few seconds. It's more like a quick little shock. And the more you get them waxed, the less it hurts. I've been waxing mine for about 9 years, and it doesn't hurt me at all now. So don't worry, I'm sure it will be fine. Another thing - use some toner on your eyebrow area for a day or two afterward, before bed (something with salicylic acid is best, and a little neosporin if your skin's red) - this will prevent the skin from breaking out. Enjoy the results!!
it really doesn't hurt.. a little bit the first time... ACTUALLY the WORST part about getting your eyebrows waxed is that they itch afterwards!!!! this is mostly because the waxer will wipe them with rubbing alcohol make sure you take something with you during the day to rub on your eyebrows and skin afterwards.. I take a bottle of aloe with me usually if i forget i just use lotion... it is very soothing... ALSO some waxers try to do everyones eyebrows exactly the same.. so make sure if you want them thinner or however you let them know... they can always take more off. :)
Don't worry!! It's ok, its ok. There will be certainly be a 'painful' sensation. It like a really tough band-aid being ripped off. But its so quick, its worth it for sure.





My tip is, ask the person who is doing it, to tell you just before they do it, so you that you can start taking a deep breath right before or do whatever you need to relax and brace yourself at the same time. I don't like surprises when it comes to waxing, I want to know when they're doing it. That's the most helpful thing I can tell you.. besides.. it will be ok!
well yes it does hurt,the first time yes defenitelly hurts l.o.l well its not so bad it will sting for awhile but then it will be over in about 3minutes! but dont worry bcuz it will b over in awhile well best of luck to ya! the outcome will b worth it!
it hurts a little, but, it wont hurt for a long time. For me when i go i usually am so relaxed that by the time they start the waxing, feel it for a second. IT hurts on second but then another second later it is gone
well it doesnt hurt that bad =]] it just stings for a lil while but thats it normally they put lotion on it so it takes the sting away so dont worry about it and its pretty hard to describe what it feels like
It hurts I was tearing up a little. When they wax hair off it hurts. It's goes away after. After a while of waxing it you will get use to it.
ive been waxing my eyebrows. I have to say i like it better than threading. Threading hurts a lot more than waxing. just tell them it's your first time, i guess that would help.
It only stings for a little bit. dont worry about it. Its not as bad as your probably thinking. Its like ripping off a band aid quick and painless. Just think about how much better your eyebrows will look after its over.
It hurts but not that bad. It hurts when they rip it off but after that the pain goes away. My skin looks a little pink afterwards but goes away after awhile.

If it hurts a lot, your eyebrows won't grow anymore.
