Eyebrow waxing or plucking??

do u think a 14 yr old is old enuf to have her eyebrows waxed? does plucking look okay if you dont wax? (ps i have really dark eyebrows!)Eyebrow waxing or plucking??
Yes, 14 I think is a good age to start getting your eyebrows shaped. I'd definitely go to a salon so they can start you off with the right shape. I tried plucking at home my first time and it was a qualified disaster =)

If you're comfortable plucking (some women aren't), You can maintain the shape at home with tweezers. It's free and quick, whereas waxing you have to a) wait until the hairs are long enough to be waxed and b) have to pay each time you get waxed. It really is up to you but I have dark brows too so I know how noticeable they can be.

If you do pluck, be sure not to over-pluck or you'll have to fill them in (which can look fake if done wrong) and, well, it's easiest just to prevent that whole mess. I speak from experience!

I also keep a tiny pair of scissors to trim any hairs that get too long, but that I don't want to pluck.

Good luck!Eyebrow waxing or plucking??
You should pluck first so your eyebrows can become less sensitive to the pulling of the hairs. Then in a few months you can get them waxed.
both
definitely eyebrow waxing. at your age, $5 to get them done well then later on, when they start appearing again you can just pluck them yourself. but plucking without a starter look may make it look bad so definitely do wax first :] it doesnt hurt a lot! and you can let them do it however you want it to be!
HELL YA !!

I did !!

~keep on rockin~
iwas 13 or 14 when i started waxing.

i pluck and have them waxed as well.

plucking takes longer.

just make sure you get the shape right either way.
none i suggest threaded=P they luk soo good and really skinny and in shape brows!

afterwards continue plucking them as they grow!

GOOD LUK!

p.s. wax hurts alot more than threading
Hiiya! =D Try trimming... o.0 it looks more natural instead of over dramatic waxing and tweasing...
it's a huge difference waxing... I prefer it... you couldn't believe the difference. its fast, easy and cheap.

I would go with waxing.

good luck!
I think its all about confidence... I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time when I was 15 (I have dark eyebrows too), I think its good to start off by having your eyebrows waxed and shaped, then maintaining them with plucking... hope I helped
Yes I think 14 is an acceptable age nowdays.

I suggest plucking, waxing is painful and you never know if something can go wrong, at least start with plucking.

Ask your mom to take you to a professional to get them shaped, you'll feel better and get some great tips to continue at home.
Waxing is better. The shape looks much nicer than you could possibly get plucking.
yeah its fine, but try threading instead.
plucking
Yes 14 is fine to start. I am 22 now and have been waxing my eyebrows for just over 10 years, so I was 11 when I started.

I suggest going to a salon for your first couple of waxes and then once you are happy with the shape you can simply tweeze the hairs as they grow back, and have them waxed once every 2 months or so just to remove all the fine, fluffy hairs and keep the shape even. (I am now a Beauty Therapist, but this is what I did when I was younger)

There is nothing wrong with tweezing the hair.....BUT only if you correctly remove the hair and not just break it off at the surface. Purchase some good quality tweezers with grip on the point so that you can get a good hold of the hair and remove it correctly.

If you accidently over pluck one eyebrow or they are uneven then don't try and fix the other one, just simply fill the gap/s in with an eyebrow pencil until they grow back.

Good luck
i think u should wax them my brotha gets it done and it looks really good ur not too young to have it done!!!!
Yeah, you should get them waxed for them to be shaped, then just continue plucking them after.

I have dark eyebrows and I have plucked them for a little over a year now. I get some compliments on mine, and I'm sure you would too :D.
